TV3 is the first Ghanaian media house to reach 2 million followers on Twitter

TV3 Ghana’s official Twitter account chalked a significant milestone on Monday, June 5 as itsfollowers exceeded 2 million.

The account was created in May 2014 as the social media arm of the free-to-air television network, TV3, which is part of the leading Ghanaian media network, Media General Ghana Ltd. TV3GH (@tv3_ghana/Twitter has since its inception, consistently provided informative, entertaining and engaging content to its audience on the microblogging platform.

Despite challenges faced during the second quarter of April 2023, when Twitter’s CEO, Elon Musk, removed the check marks from the profiles of users, TV3’s Twitter account remained a trusted source of authentic and unbiased information and thus continued to thrive.

Over the years, TV3 has worked diligently to establish its presence on Twitter, consistently delivering the best content to its followers.
