Mr. Nuamah Eshun-Famiyeh is the Group Chief Operating Officer (GCOO) of Media General. He leads the operations of the Group’s General Managers for its various Platforms and Business Units
His career spans almost three decades in middle to Executive Management with a wealth of experience in Administration, Marketing, Field Operations and Corporate Communications, having accomplishments in broadcast management, project management and new market penetration.
Mr. Eshun-Famiyeh started his career at Millicom Ghana (now AirtelTigo) as the company’s first Public Relations/Media Manager and Marketing Project Lead for its expansion to Kumasi, Obuasi and Takoradi.
He moved on to join MBC/Joy Group and was the founding General Manager for Luv 99.5 FM in Kumasi and then Adom 106.3 FM in Accra, leaving MBC after six illustrious years. In the last 20 years, Mr. Eshun-Famiyeh has served as General Manager – Group Operations for the KINA Group, the parent company of Kinapharma, Healthilife and several offshoots with oversight responsibilities for Business Development, Projects Management and Corporate Communications.
For over two decades, he was a Senior Trainer for the BBC World Service, coaching Managers of partner stations across Africa in General Station Management and Broadcast Sales, Events and Promotions.
He holds an Executive Masters In Governance & Leadership from the GIMPA Graduate School, an EDP in Broadcast Management from the McDonough Business School of Georgetown University – Washington DC , a Graduate Diploma from the Chartered Institute of Administration and a Diploma in Journalism from the Ghana Institute of Journalism.
