Beatrice Agyemang is inspired by the daunting challenges of the journalism profession and her unquenchable thirst to overpower competitors while giving the audience unparalleled reporting.

Beginning her TV career in 2000, Beatrice Abbey tirelessly interrogated pressing issues and mind-boggling stories as an anchor, reporter, and later Senior Producer. As a reporter for TV3, she covered major news reports both in and outside Ghana. She has attended international conferences and reported on African Union Summit in Ethiopia, the ECOWAS summit in Togo, and a United Nations Conference on Trade and Development – UNCTAD.

Beatrice has also reported on many issues, including politics, economics, security, global affairs – keeping politicians and policymakers alert with in-depth reporting and investigations. She served as a producer for Business Time, Headlines and Hot Issues and has interviewed several high profile personalities for TV3

Her high-profile interviewees are Ex-Liberian President Ellen Johnson Sirleaf, Ex-Ghana Presidents John Kufuor and John Mahama, then Vice President.

Her knack for exciting leads and headlines made her an integral part of TV3’s flagship Evening News bulletin, serving as an anchor. Beatrice took up the position of Managing News Editor in 2013 and headed the department until 2016. She helped her team sweep many local and international awards, making TV3 news dominate the media headlines. Media General recognized her hard work. In November 2016, she was appointed the Chief Operating Officer for TV3. With this position, Beatrice became very instrumental in the restructuring of the company in 2017.

After the Group was restructured, she assumed the position of General Manager of MGTV, which comprises TV3 and Onua TV. For over a year, Beatrice Agyemang Abbey also doubled as the Head of MG Digital, a subsidiary of the Media General Group.
