Onua Group impact lives at Dome, Accra

Onua FM  and Onua TV  moved its Health Festival Train dubbed Onua Apomuden Keteke  to  the Dome Market area  for a two-day health screening exercise to bring   free health care to the doorsteps of the community 

The health screening exercise held on the 27th and 28th of October benefited 200 market traders and residents from Taifa, Mile 7, Kwabenya, Ashongman, Parakuo, Dome, Oko, and  Pillar 2 among other satellite communities who commute to the market area daily to do business.

 The Apomuden Keteke is part of Media General’s  3 Foundation enriching lives activities through its channels including  Onua FM/TV to positively impact the health and well-being of the communities. The program is held once every month.

All who attended were screened at no cost, there were also consultations with healthcare officials from Rainbow Scientific Herbal Clinic, Active Point Dental Clinic and Save the Nations Sight Clinic. However, when an ailment is detected, the patient took care of the medications prescribed by the doctors. Feedback from the community indicated that they were very happy with the health screening exercise and commended Onua Group for bringing the screening exercise to the community.
